Interlibrary Loan (ILL) Service
About the Service
This service is designed to assist users in obtaining documents or information resources that are not available in the library.
Steps to Request the Service
- Confirm that the desired document is not available in the library by checking the OPAC system and ensuring the full text cannot be downloaded from electronic databases.
- Verify the source of information from the following:
- If the required document is available in multiple libraries, decide which library to use by reviewing the following information:
- Service characteristics: Identify libraries that loan physical copies, including those that only loan secondary copies. This can be checked via the Manual of Interlibrary Loan Services for Higher Education Institutions.
- Cost and delivery speed: Review detailed information about the fees and service times of each library.
- Contact the reference service counter to pay a deposit for the document.
- Wait for the document, and the library staff will notify you once it is available.
This service follows the Interlibrary Loan Agreement for Higher Education Institutions (B.E. 2550/2007) by the Working Group on Library Information Services for Higher Education Institutions.
