The Khunying Long Athakravisunthorn Learning Resources Center functions as a library serving a broad community. Our primary users includes
1. Faculty, staffs, and students of Prince of Songkla University.
2. Faculty, staffs, and students who are members of Pulinet Thailand.
3. Teachers and lecturers involved in Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) between their institutions and our library.
4. General user.
While our primary mission is to serve the needs of Prince of Songkla University, we also offer certain facilities and resources to interested external users. For example, the front area on the third floor provides more than one hundred seats, and an additional room on the same floor offers over seventy seats. These areas are designated for 24-hours service, allowing for working, reading, and other activities free of charge. Users can also benefit from high-speed internet access. Additionally, library computers and the university network provide complimentary access to our online resources.
On the first floor, the library provides the Forest Room, which has more than 150 seats and allows users to have food and drink. This room is open 24 hours a day and welcomes all users.a
The Khunying Long Athakravisunthorn Learning Resources Center is the first place at the university to have all-gender restrooms, promoting gender equality.
Other than Khunying Long Athakravisunthorn Learning Resources Center is colloaboration with library in the prison in Songkhla province to service and share books or resorces to prisoner.
The library must inform the users that private individuals with no current affiliation to Prince of Songkla University cannot access certain electronic resources due to copyright license agreements between the publishers and the library. If users need to access our resources from home, they must use a VPN.

How do I get a library member?
Membership registration
- Complete the online registration form through the OPAC system at the following URL: opac.psu.ac.th.
- Submit the required documents at the circulation service counter on the 3rd floor:
2.1 General public: Submit your national ID card.
2.2 Students without a national ID card: Submit your student ID card or a copy of your household registration.
2.3 PSU alumni: Submit a copy of your degree certificate or an official document proving graduation from PSU.
2.4 Former PSU government officers without a retirement ID card: Provide other proof of your status. - Download the PSU LIBX application to access library services.
- Upon termination of membership, claim your information resource deposit refund within 1 year (from the membership expiration date) by submitting a request during office hours along with a copy of your national ID card. If the refund is not claimed, the library will consider it a donation to the library’s funds.

Printed books and journals
The library’s collection of printed books and journals is located from the fourth to the sixth floors. There are no loan collections in the 24-hour areas of the library. However, the library has a system in place for users to request loans of printed books and journals. These items can be picked up from the smart lockers on the third floor 24 hours service. Users can return all printed books and journals at the book return machine on the first floor.
Electronic Books and Journals
Facilities
The library provides more than 80 computers in the internet zone area on the third floor, all equipped with high-speed internet access. Throughout the entire library, users can access electronic collections and resources, including databases, articles, and e-books, via the university network. PSU faculty, staff, and students can also use VPN to access all electronic collections from home.
As a rule, General user are only permitted to use the library’s electronic collections, resources, and spaces for private purposes—never for commercial or other work-related purposes. You are permitted to use all facilities and resources of the library as long as you comply with the above terms. The material you use must not be shared with others, either digitally or in print.
The library provides Coursera licenses for faculty, staff, and students, granting access to all courses on the Coursera platform. These world-class courses support the theme of world-class self-learning and promote lifelong learning skills.
The library organizes workshop activities to provide training on how to use library functions and online tools for accessing electronic resources. For example, in collaboration with the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research, and Innovation, the library conducts workshops on topics such as Information Literacy Skills Enhancement for Academic Research etc.
